Privacy and data use

This policy applies to the GlowUp-X Android app and web service. GlowUp-X is intended for adults aged 18 and older.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not as readable passwords. If you choose to complete your Creator Profile, it may include your country, region, city, time zone, languages, interests, audience, goals, and content preferences.

We store information you submit or create, including prompts, plans, drafts, captions, review requests, and feedback. If you choose to upload photos, videos, or audio, those files are stored with your account. The service also uses an authentication cookie and may retain limited operational or security records needed to run and protect the service.

Do not upload sensitive identity documents or another person's personal information unless you have permission and it is necessary for your use of the service.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to provide your private workspace, personalize creator tools, authenticate accounts, respond to your requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate the service. Your workspace is not a public social feed; you decide whether to copy or publish content elsewhere.

Production account records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore and uploaded media in access-controlled Google Cloud Storage. Google Cloud processes this information to host the service. The Android app communicates with GlowUp-X over HTTPS.

The production service is currently configured for demo AI mode. If live AI generation is enabled, relevant prompts, profile details, and selected content may be sent to the OpenAI API to fulfill that request. Review this policy and your Google Play Data safety declarations whenever service providers or AI settings change.

GlowUp-X does not sell personal information or use it for advertising. The Android client does not include advertising SDKs.

Retention, export, and deletion

Account information and workspace content are retained while your account is active. You can export your account data and delete your account from Profile & Safety. You can also read the account deletion instructions. Account deletion removes account records and uploaded media from active application storage. Limited security records or provider backups may remain under applicable retention controls.

Children

GlowUp-X is intended for people aged 18 and older and is not designed for children.
